Holiday Parcels Haul

Have received quite a bounty in the post:

For cafemassolit's Secret Santa Letter Exchange I got, from Eva (failte_aoife on lj): 1) a multilingual holiday greetings card 2) a recipe for GINGERBREAD CUNEIFORM TABLETS aaaahhh can't wait to try 3) a (handsewn??) Temeraire bookmark and 4) a personalized list of podcast recommendations. Amazing, incredible, thank you so much Eva. Even the vintage stationery the letter was written on was just beautiful.

(ignore my horrible tacky tablecloth, i need to replace it but i refuse to buy nice (read: actual cloth) tablecloths while i have a dog who's just going to chew holes in it anyway):



From cafemassolit I got a parcel including: chocolate ginger cookies, cookie cutters in the shape of a PINK unicorn and a GREEN dinosaur (watch me make a batch of dog treats tomorrow), 3 books (including VOLTAIRE!!! how do I call myself a Utopian when I have not read Voltaire, she says) and the other two books are Sense & Sensibility and a beautiful edition of Terra Ignota #3. Thank you K, you are a blessing.

(I'm still waiting for the critical last part of your parcel. For, uh, 3.5 months now. Some day this will make a funny story, I hope. Hopefully within the next calendar year.)

agreed--everyone should be sent hive-appropriate reading material. in scotland or finland i think they send you boxes when you have a new baby??? let's make hive-appropriate reading material a thing!
